Home decorating contest is a great way to show off your holiday spirit and get into the holiday mood. In addition, you can win a variety of prizes. To participate, all you have to do is decorate your house and submit photos. Once the submissions are received, a panel of judges made up of Instructables staff and respected members of the community will rate the entries. The top rated entries will win the prize money.
Roscoe Village Neighborhood Association (RVN) is proud to announce its 10th Annual Holiday Home Decorating Contest. RVN is committed to improving the quality of life for its residents and supporting local businesses in Roscoe Village. The purpose of this contest is to encourage residents to decorate their homes and business for the holidays in a way that will enhance the neighborhood’s aesthetic appeal and create a festive and seasonal environment.
This year’s contest is open to all Southern Highlands homeowners and residents in good standing. Decorators must decorate the front, side and/or back of their residences that are visible from the street. Please note that this is a street-side judging only and decorations cannot be displayed from the backyard or inside the house.
Winners were announced at the CUIMC Holiday Celebration, Toy Drive and Gingerbread House Display on December 13. Employees had the opportunity to enjoy refreshments, view a display of competing gingerbread houses and make a donation to the toy drive.
STRASBURG — It’s time to break out the lights and untangle those strands for the annual Home Decorating Contest sponsored by the Journal & Topics and the Town of Strasburg. This year, the contest includes a new category to honor a longtime community volunteer known for her extensive and festive decorations, the Rita Giancola Award.
